Socialist President of Venezuela, and Barack Obama backer, Hugo Chavez is teaming up with Iranian nutjob Ahmadinejad to start new socialist university.
Venezuela and Iran plan to start a new university program in the South American country with a focus on teaching socialist principles.
Venezuela’s government says it plans to establish the University of Civilizations under accords recently signed with Iran.
Deputy Minister for Academic Development Tibisay Hung says the program will begin in Caracas at the existing, tuition-free Bolivarian University.
Hung tells the state-run Bolivarian News Agency that the aim is to promote discussion of “21st century socialism.” Venezuela announced the program on Monday.
There will no doubt be a flood of American academics ready to teach there. Though one wonders why we need yet another educational institution hawking the miseries of socialism on the planet when we already have UCLA, UCSC and all the other bastions of radical leftism attracting socialists from all corners of the world to the U.S.

So it sounds like our buddy Mahmoud wants a tour of ground zero in New York. Personally I think he should be allowed to. It isn’t against the law, there’s really no serious security concerns. Sure some might view it as being in bad taste, but since when was that against the law? Heck, it might even break some people out of the anti-war doldrums.
In fact, I would like to be the first to suggest that Mahmoud be able to give a speech overlooking the pits where the WTC once stood, complete with holocaust denying, gloating, baiting, and admonishing of the USA. As soon as he’s done, give him the grand tour of american locales associated with terrorism and arrest him for questioning for his part in hostage taking in Iran in 1979.
See you in sunny Cuba!

Iranian dictator-in-chief Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has bestowed a “gift” upon the British people by “pardoning” the 15 British soldiers his guard kidnapped and paraded on television.
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Iran would free the 15 detained British sailors and marines Wednesday.
Ahmadinejad said this would be an Easter holiday “gift” to the British people.
“On the occasion of the birthday of the great prophet (Muhammad) … and for the occasion of the passing of Christ, I say the Islamic Republic government and the Iranian people ? with all powers and legal right to put the soldiers on trial ? forgave those 15,” Ahmadinejad said.
“This pardon is a gift to the British people,” he said.
Does he really expect gratitude? Are we supposed to bubble with admiration for this grand gesture? You never know with the useful idiots in the western media, maybe they really have bought “the soldiers were in our territory” fib. Certainly the Iranian people bought it, which is what Ahmadinejad apparently wanted. Anyway, I’m glad this is over for the soldiers and their families, but I fear the days of reckless Iranian aggression have only begun.

They don’t like us barging into their (alleged) diplomatic offices and detaining people.
Tehran said the attack violated all international conventions. It has summoned ambassadors from Switzerland, representing US interests, and Iraq.
A spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry described the raid as an attempt to sabotage Tehran’s relations with Iraq. One Iranian MP said it showed America’s cruelty and meanness.
What are these guys complaining about? It’s not like we’re planning on holding and parading them in front of cameras for 444 days.
This picture shows American military personnel escorting one of the detained Iranians out of the compound for questioning.
Ooops! Wrong photo. That’s actually a picture of the Iranians hauling one of their American hostages out for a photo-op after taking over our embassy. And…is that who I think it is? Looks a lot like a certain president of a certain flea-infested dust-heap of an Islamic Republic I know.

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned Tuesday three European countries – Britain, France and Germany, the so-called EU3 – engaged in talks over its nuclear programme, not to challenge Iran. “These three European countries should know that if they insist in denying Iran its (nuclear) rights then our people will consider them hostile and change approach as a consequence of this,” the president said in a speech in Kermanshah, in western Iran, broadcast on state television.
He will “change approach”. And when your approach is antagonistic to begin with, and we can logically rule out him threatening to move to a more conciliatory position, what does that leave? Not a pleasant thought.
But hey, maybe this guy will help us in Iraq.

Time magazine has changed its origin caption of Ahmadinejad, which idolized the madman dictator, and removed the leftist praise.
“Champion of the dispossessed” and “global Everyman”? Please excuse me while I visit the toilet.

Nothing surprising here.
Addressing a conference in Tehran questioning the existence of the Holocaust on Monday, German-born Australian Frederick Toeben, said the Holocaust was “a great lie to justify the much more serious crimes committed by the Zionists in the past decades.” Toeben, who has served a jail sentence in Germany on charges of inciting racial hatred, denied that six million Jews had died during World War II saying that “if something had ever occurred,” the number of casualties would be much lower.
Holocaust denier Bradley R. Smith of the US told participants he is convinced that “gas chambers never existed because otherwise famous politicians like Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt or the pope [Pious XII] would have certainly spoken.”
Robert Faurisson, a French professor who also denies the existence of gas chambers, addressed the conference Monday saying that it is “courageous and useful to establish the truth about something which never existed.”
“The courage of people like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will allow the truth to emerge in the end and uncover this great lie which has influenced the history of humanity from World War II until today,” he concluded.
Some Iranians, however, don’t appreciate their moonbat leader.
CommentsDozens of Iranian students burnt pictures of President Ahmadinejad and chanted ?Death to the dictator? as he gave a speech at a university in Tehran yesterday.
Never has the hardline leader faced such open hostility at a public event, which came as Iran opened a conference questioning whether Nazi Germany murdered six million Jews.

With his letter to America President Ahmadatdajews of Iran has hinted at what some analysts say is his intention to run for the Democratic nomination for U.S. President in ‘08.
The Islamic supremacists seek to pacify us by neutralizing our will to resist them
In the well executed and grammatically pristine letter, the Presidential hopeful touched on all the necessary liberal talking points, from Katrina to faulty pre-war intelligence. Hinting at what we could expect from an Ahmadatdajews White House, he outlined the following platform:
It is possible to govern based on an approach that is distinctly different from one of coercion, force and injustice.
It is possible to sincerely serve and promote common human values, and honesty and compassion.
It is possible to provide welfare and prosperity without tension, threats, imposition or war.
It is possible to lead the world towards the aspired perfection by adhering to unity, monotheism, morality and spirituality and drawing upon the teachings of the Divine Prophets.
When asked directly whether he planned to seek the Democratic nomination, an A’Jad spokesman replied, “Dirka dirka Mohammed jihad. Allahu Akhbar.” We are told this roughly translates to “ask again later”.
I’m sorry. I can’t help but joke about this because this letter itself is a joke. Does he really expect us to buy this? Well maybe not us, but looking at the language – almost indistinguishable from the bunkum we get from the Democrats and the clone-army media – it’s pretty clear who he’s talking to. If I may, I’d like to hit just a few points and ignore the rest.
Terrorism in Iraq has grown exponentially.
I can’t help but feel he’s bragging at the success of his terrorist recruiting and arming programs.
Noble Americans
As stated earlier, the people he’s addressing in this letter are not the “noble Americans”.
We should all heed the Divine Word of the Holy Qur’an
I believe the above quote is the only sincere statement in the entire letter. He believes Islam should rule us all. It is his motivation for everything. This letter itself is in his mind a means to that end. The Islamic supremacists seek to pacify us by neutralizing our will to resist them. And through the willful collaboration of the International Press, there is a very real possibility that they could succeed.
Don’t for a second believe this farce.

Ahmadinejad Predicts Collapse of Israel, U.S., U.K.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted the collapse of Israel, the U.S. and Britain, attacking what he called their “oppressive behavior.”
“The Zionist regime is on a steep downhill towards collapse and disgrace,” Ahmandinejad told supporters at a rally of Basiji militia forces near Tehran today. In a reference to the U.S. and U.K., he said “the collapse and crumbling of your devilish rule has started.” The speech was carried live on state television.
. . .The Iranian president also called on neighboring countries to drive out “foreign occupiers,” in a reference to U.S.-led forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Iran is ready to help the U.S. on Iraq, Ahmadinejad
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proposed Sunday that he would help the United States calm Iraq if Washington changes what he described as its “bullying” policy toward Iran.
“We are ready to help you, Ahmadinejad declared while addressing a group of members of the Basij paramilitary group, affiliated to the elite Revolutionary Guard.
Real helpful.
Not to be misunderstood, Ahmadinejad made sure to work in some DNC talking points:
Comments“You went to Iraq to topple Saddam and find weapons of mass destruction, but it was clear to us that you came in order to dominate the region and its oil.”
Ahmadinejad said that the U.S. and Britain are paying for the instability and violence in Iraq. “You have been trapped in a quagmire and locked in your place with nowhere to go.”

No, this is not a joke.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says his recent trips abroad have accelarated what he describes as the world’s “Ahmadinejadisation”. The Iranian leader made the remarks in a meeting with state radio and television journalists in Tehran, the daily Entekhab reported. “Many of the world’s countries are waiting for our signal to follow our example of good governance,” Ahmadinejad said in a recent speech, apparently also a reference to “Ahmadinejadisation”.
. . .The Iranian president has repeatedly described himself as the “saviour of the world” and the “spokesman of the disenfranchised”. At a dinner gathering to mark the breaking of the day-time fast during the recent Muslim holy month of Ramadan, he told those with him that he has a direct linel of communication with God, or Allah.
The former Mayor of Tehran, who earned the nickname ‘Streetsweeping Mayor’ after he appeared at dawn armed with a broom to clean up a street in one of the capital’s districts, seems increasingly certain that he is on a divine mission to, in his own words, save the world from “Western decadence” and bring it back “on the path of True Faith.”
This guy is a nutjob the likes of which has not risen to power since. . .well, I don’t know when. The point is, he’s crazy. Not like a fox crazy, but moonbat Islamist, wanna-be-savoir-who-has-nukes crazy.
