DNC Desperately Lashing Out At Rudy
Democratic Party Questions ‘Rudy’s Reluctant Candidacy’
Quick to pounce on any Republican who signals presidential ambitions, the Democratic National Committee has now turned its insinuation machine on Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani filed a “statement of candidacy” with the Federal Election Commission on Monday.
The DNC promptly suggested that Giuliani has held off until now to avoid questions about his business dealings.
It’s February of 2007, the election is almost 2 years away. This is not “holding off”. For any observer knowledgeable on Presidential races this is an early entrance, not a late one. But this goes to show just how desperately scared the democrats are of a Giuliani candidacy. Let us not forget, you can’t have a DNC attack without questioning the timing:
“The timing of his announcement raised questions about whether or not the move was orchestrated as a politically calculated effort to hide Giuliani’s business deals,” the DNC said in a news release on Monday.
The timing of this DNC attack raises questions about whether or not the move was orchestrated as a politically calculated effort to derail Rudy’s campaign before he can win the nomination.
Hilarious.
